To reach Garud Chatti Waterfall from Rishikesh, you can take a 45-minute walk from the Laxman Jhula bridge. Alternatively, you can rent a motorbike or hire a rickshaw to take you directly to the Garud Chatti Temple for a more convenient option.

Phool Chatti Waterfall is located in Phool Chatti, a place near Shivpuri, only 12 kilometres away from Rishikesh City. You can access the waterfall through a 4.5 km trek from Garuda temple or 4 km from the famous Laxman Jhula. As the waterfall is surrounded by thick forest, you can reconnect with nature. By Air:
Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, is the nearest airport for those travelling by air. It is located about 35 kilometres from Rishikesh. Travellers can take flights connecting to major cities in India and abroad to reach here. From the airport, you can pre-book a taxi or find one at the airport. You can also catch a bus from the ISBT Dehradun to reach Rishikesh.
By Road:
Travelling by road offers a unique opportunity to experience the diverse landscapes of India. If you are travelling from Delhi, it takes around 6-7 hrs, depending on traffic conditions. If you want to travel on a budget to Rishikesh from Mumbai by train, you can board the ‘19019 Bandra Terminus (BDTS) to Haridwar Jn (HW)’. While travelling by train from Mumbai to Rishikesh, you can see a variety of landscapes, from the urban sprawl of Mumbai to the beautiful ghats of Rishikesh.

March to May is the best time to visit Rishikesh as the weather is pleasant and comfortable, with warm days and cool evenings.
