Begin your day at this iconic 16th-century monument. Charminar, built in 1591 by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, stands as the iconic heart of Hyderabad. It was constructed to commemorate the end of a deadly cholera epidemic and features four grand minarets and stunning arches that blend Indo-Islamic and Persian styles.

Mecca Masjid, one of the largest and oldest mosques in India, is a stunning example of Mughal architecture nestled near Charminar in Hyderabad. Commissioned by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in the 17th century, the mosque gets its name from the belief that the central arch was built using soil from Mecca. With its massive granite structure, intricately carved interiors, and peaceful courtyard that can accommodate thousands of worshippers, Mecca Masjid is not just a religious site but a peaceful experience from the city's chaos.
