Just about a 5–6 hour drive (170 km) from Kodaikanal, this place is full of pretty views and the kind of calm that makes you want to stay longer. The drive itself is full of pretty views. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to the smell of fresh tea and go for long walks with clouds walking beside you.

6. Rameshwaram
A 7-hour drive (280 km) from Kodaikanal takes you to one of the holiest towns in India. But Rameshwaram isn’t just spiritual, it’s stunning too. Legend says this is where Lord Rama built a bridge (Ram Setu) across the sea to reach Lanka. Whether you’re spiritual or just curious, this place is something else.
